marmelade or more to taste (optional)
- Combine milk yeast and sugar, let rest for 10min
- Add remaining ingredients (except marmelade and oil) and mix into dough, only use half of the salt
- Rest for 30-60min, until volume doubles
- Separated dough into 8-10 pieces and fill with marmelade
- Rest for another 20min
- Add oil and salt in a pan, fill with water and mix
- Heat up water until cooking, then reduce heat to low
- Add Dampfnudeln and simmer for about 25min with a lid

Instead of cooking them in water, they can also be steamed
