Vegan Dampfnudeln

  1. Combine milk yeast and sugar, let rest for 10min
  2. Add remaining ingredients (except marmelade and oil) and mix into dough, only use half of the salt
  3. Rest for 30-60min, until volume doubles
  4. Separated dough into 8-10 pieces and fill with marmelade
  5. Rest for another 20min
  6. Add oil and salt in a pan, fill with water and mix
  7. Heat up water until cooking, then reduce heat to low
  8. Add Dampfnudeln and simmer for about 25min with a lid

Notes

Instead of cooking them in water, they can also be steamed
