Spice Mix

  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 0.5 tsp cloves
  • 0.5 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp anise powder
  • 0.5 tsp Kardamom
  1. Mix butter, sugar and egg and mix until foamy
  2. Combine all spices for the spice mix, add lemon zest and powdered almonds and mix with egg mixture
  3. Sieve flour and baking powder together and fold into the batter
  4. Roll out dough and cut into small portions (preferrably using a speculo form) and top with sliced almonds
  5. Let rest for 30min in the fridge and preheat oven to 180C upper lower
  6. Bake for about 10min and let fully cool down
