Fried Noodles with Tofu and Peanut Sauce

Sauce

  • 125 g peanut butter
  • 80 ml sesame oil
  • 80 ml soy sauce
  • 60 ml rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Gochuchang (3)
  • 12 Tbsp Paprika or tomato paste
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 cm fresh ginger
  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions
  2. Mince Garlic, ginger and spring onions
  3. Cut Tofu into cubes
  4. Fry Tofu in oil until crisp
  5. Mix all sauce ingredients
  6. add half of sauce to tofu
  7. saute until sauce is evaporated
  8. Combine noodles, tofu and spring onions in a pot and heat up.
  9. Garnish with spring onions and peanuts

Notes

(1) Use Wok noodles or similar.
(2) alternatively use chunky peanut butter
(3) alternatively use fresh chilis in mortar
