- Wash. peel and dice onion, peppers, carrots and tomatoes, mince garlic
- Sautee onion and carrots in butter and oil for 5min
- Add paprika powder and garlic and continue for 1min
- Add rice, avjar and broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer
- Add peppers, peas, salt, pepper and parsley
- Simmer until all broth has been absorbed, add more if rice is not done
- Add sugar and tomatoes, add more seasoning if needed
- Let rest for at least 15min
