  1. Wash. peel and dice onion, peppers, carrots and tomatoes, mince garlic
  2. Sautee onion and carrots in butter and oil for 5min
  3. Add paprika powder and garlic and continue for 1min
  4. Add rice, avjar and broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer
  5. Add peppers, peas, salt, pepper and parsley
  6. Simmer until all broth has been absorbed, add more if rice is not done
  7. Add sugar and tomatoes, add more seasoning if needed
  8. Let rest for at least 15min
