egg yolk

sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, etc (optional)
- Mix flour, yeast, sugar and salt, and melt butter
- Add water and butter and knead into a smooth dough
- Rest for 1h
- Separated dough into 8 pieces, form them into 3-5cm long sausages and knead the ends together
- Rest for another 30min, then preheat oven to 200C convection
- Melt honey in 2 Tbsp of hot water and mix egg yolk with milk
- Brush bagels with honey water and egg mixture
- Bake for 20min
Notes
Leave out egg yolk during brushing for a vegan version
